IICAPP oversees the two-year Professional training programme. Throughout years three and four the course provides a continuation of academic and clinical training for those students who have completed the MSc in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Trinity College, Dublin.
The clinical training programme is a two year part-time programme. Teaching will take place in modules starting in September 2019. There may be additional teaching pre-organised outside the scheduled training days to support the clinical programme and to facilitate guest lecturers. Students continue their personal therapy and supervision throughout the two year programme. |
The course will be overseen by an IICAPP professional Training Committee, made up of clinical practitioners, with academic links to Trinity College. The committee have a responsibility for organising the programme to ensure the maintenance of standards and the monitoring of the clinical case work and assessment of students. |
